G-O-S-S-I-P

Gossip. I have been a victim of gossip this past week. On Sunday, I discovered that a girl who had been my friend for a long time (this friendship ended last year after I figured out she had been starting all sorts of drama.) My best friend had her over last Sunday and told me she had been talking about me. The things that she said included hating me and saying that she was glad that I would be leaving the school in High School. My best friend told me about it. I told my mom about it and she said to tell her that I knew what she had said and tell her not to talk about me anymore. I have not told her that I know because I am afraid of what she might tell her friends because she is known to twist words around. I hate every single kind of drama there is. How do you deal with gossiping or different types of drama?

Halloween

Halloween is quickly approaching. Some people love to dress up and decorate pretty much everything that is in their sights. Others just do not like this tradition of dressing up and scaring people. Other people might just dress up for the incentive of candy. In my opinion, I personally just like to see how people come up with their costume ideas. Halloween is a time to display your creativeness with your costumes and just how scary or scared you can actually be. I am not that creative so I never really come up with anything that exciting. What about you? Do you like to dress up? Scaring people? Just in it for the candy? If you love Halloween, what has been your most favorite costume you have ever dressed up in?

Drama, Drama, Drama

Middle school drama is everywhere. No matter how much you try to avoid it it is always there. I speak from personal experience. Through 6th grade and 7th grade, it felt like everywhere I turned there was drama. I was in a in a group with two other girls. One girl claimed that she did not like drama. 99.9% of the time, she was the one who started it. It has gotten better in 8th grade because I have a new group of friends including one of the people in that group of two. We have become best friends and do almost everything together. There is no drama whatsoever between us. I think it is the more mature you get the less drama you go through and the less that you care the less drama you go through. Have you ever experienced any type of drama?

Left Out?

Being left out by your friends can be almost the most frustrating and saddest thing you might ever have to experience in school. Instagram can almost be the worst thing ever if you do not want to know what your friends are doing. When you see that picture, you probably feel like you want to cry. This has happened to be countless of times. I have even been the suspect in this situation of leaving people out. You really do not feel bad when you are having such a good time with your other friends. But when you are on the other side of the situation, you feel like you are going to cry. Have you ever been left out?

Volleyball

Volleyball is a sport that can be described as a very intense version of keep it up with a balloon. It goes to 25 points each game and there are three games total.  I have been playing volleyball almost all of my life because my sister played ever since she was in seventh grade. She is now in her first year of Law School. My mom also played volleyball, so I guess you could say the sport runs in the family. Volleyball or any other sports can teach you how to encourage and integrity.  It can also help you make friends and teach you how to interact in your later years.

I have a game today and I am really nervous because I know that this team is good. I bet some of you can relate to what I am talking about. Have you ever been to afraid to mess up so you get those butterflies in your stomach and you feel like you do not want to play anymore? That is how I feel sometimes. Sports can teach you so many things about life and even can show you some types of people that you can encounter in life. It can also teach how not to be afraid to mess up. I love volleyball and I hope to end up playing it through college too. Have you ever been so passionate about something that you want to continue doing it all of your life?
