Middle school drama is everywhere. No matter how much you try to avoid it it is always there. I speak from personal experience. Through 6th grade and 7th grade, it felt like everywhere I turned there was drama. I was in a in a group with two other girls. One girl claimed that she did not like drama. 99.9% of the time, she was the one who started it. It has gotten better in 8th grade because I have a new group of friends including one of the people in that group of two. We have become best friends and do almost everything together. There is no drama whatsoever between us. I think it is the more mature you get the less drama you go through and the less that you care the less drama you go through.
